Hi!  This is Murphy! He was Johnny Blue from Addie and Spencer’s October 2019 litter! He was an adorable puppy and has grown into a handsome social butterfly! He was one of the largest in his litter and is now around 34 lbs. and is very healthy. He LOVES children and other animals. Murphy has brought so much love into our home, and our 12 year old miniature poodle adores him(although in his few months he was not so happy). He is my shadow, and has a natural empathy that wins the heart of everyone he meets. He is in training to become a therapy dog as well! Thank you so much for blessing us with this dog. We love him so much!I lohttps://www.instagram.com/murph_thesmurf2020/?fbclid=IwAR20jfVqVZ-D0R8HZ_lu9wAydMoxGRoWm_GIeWKsz2Sr-IogjuclkRQdIeM

10/8/21,

Hi Kellie, Our beautiful Lillie Jean turned 1 today. She is such a joy to us. I could brag about how easy she was to train, which she was, but that is nothing compared to the love she gives to us daily. She is my shadow and has stayed by my side after my revision on my knee replacement, and helped me mourn the loss of not one but two of our furbabies. There are not enough words to tell you how much Lillie Jean is loved. She is such important member of our family. Thank you for the wonderful start you gave her.

Wanted to share some pictures of Copley now that he turned 6 months on the 5th. Copley was green from Arrington's litter this year. He is the sweetest 30lb pup and we're so in love with him. He loves sticks (no matter how big they are), peanut butter, going to the beach, sleeping on cool tiled floor, and having us in sight whenever he's napping. He doesn't like being alone or when we take socks away from him. He swears he's super sneaky with the socks. We could not have picked a better puppy to fit our personalities so we thank you for recommending him for us.
Best,
Andrea and Brent

Kellie,
Our Murphy turned 2! (Kaysey Jean and Spencer 7/12/2019) He's sweet, gentile, and super smart. He's 29 lbs of fun and goes everywhere with us. He has done lots of road trips and hikes this year and everyone we pass comments on how cute and well behaved he is. We love him dearly.  Please feel free to post photos.

Hey Kellie,
Freddie is fun and has loads of personality. He has brought us so much joy and fits into our family perfectly. He is quick to learn and thrives on a routine (just like our kids). His "zoomies" make us laugh and him playing tug-of-war with our other dog is never ending.

You could throw a ball with him a million times and he is always ready for a million and one. He will even throw the ball up in the air all by himself and catch it. Yes, he sometimes plays ball by himself! It is the funniest thing.

I have attached a few pictures for you. Yesterday the vet weighed him in at 29 lbs. He will the perfect size for us!
Thank you,
Emily  (Freddie from Muffin and Spencer)

Hi Kellie,
Congratulations on the birth of your grandchild... so very exciting. I wanted to send a few pictures of Lucy, daughter of Sadie and Spencer born on Oct 22, 2017. Lucy is perfect! So sweet, so smart and has completed our family. Thank you so much for breeding such beautiful, healthy puppies! Here are a few pics of Lucy! Thank you!!

Attached is a photo of our Riley (Remi/Maggie - purple) on her 3 month birthday. We love her so much! She has been the sweetest addition to our family, and has settled into her new home perfectly. As you can see she is growing quickly! Riley is famous in our neighborhood with all of the kids and other puppies. She is so friendly, and greets everyone with her tail wagging! She is also so smart, and quickly picked up on how to use the potty bells. She has learned how to sit, stay and touch and is a great sleeper. She gets so excited when it is meal time and gobbles up every last piece of food. Our three kids love playing with her, giving her belly rubs, and taking her on walks when they are on school breaks. She gives us so much affection and love back. We are so thankful to have her in our lives, and we just wanted to say thank you!

We hope you and your family are doing well, and enjoy a safe and wonderful holiday.

Hi Kellie,
Thank you so much for the incredible job you do with your pups! Our Daisy, Maggie and Remy's petite pink girl, born International Dog day Aug 26, 2020, couldn't be more well adjusted. I recommend you to anyone willing to hear.

She's taken to all the socialization we've done with her to date, including but not limited to doggie backpack walks, pet & hardware store visits, gym, puppy class, Halloween activities, neighbor dog play-dates plus even the race car track, exceptionally well! She took to her crates from the very first car ride home from your house and has slept through the night since the beginning! And she's almost completed Unit 1 of the Baxter and Bella program - just making sure we have "Back" before moving on to Unit 2. She was a natural at 'sit to say please' and even adds a back roll for a belly rub every time! ;)
Though she was the tiniest of the litter and weighed in at 3 3/4lbs upon her first visit to our vet, her second visit had her weighing in at 6lbs! We'll see where she ends up in size, but we couldn't be more pleased with her patience, gentleness and overall eating habits. Plus, she is impossibly fluffy cute (taking to her daily grooming routine like a champ) and oh my goodness so agile!
Needless to say, we are in love with our new furry family member. I've enclosed a seasonal picture at 8.5 weeks and one from just a couple mornings ago before coming out of her crate, I thought you'd enjoy having.
Stay healthy!
Marks family

PS. Her heart murmur, though detected by our vet upon the first visit, was no longer detected on the second. And, the small collar was absolutely critical the first day, as has been the small leash for training. Feel free to share this email as a reference if you are so inclined.

Hi Kellie,
I hope you and your family are doing well, through this horrific time. Just wanted to update you on our precious puppy Annie ! She has brought us so much joy, as a new member to our family. She is full of personality, energy, loves to play (all day if she could) and is such a loving little puppy. We love her so much ! She was, just under 15lbs, at 8 months She sits, turns around, lays, rolls over, stays, comes on command ( well, 80% of the time, haha. We're working on it !! ) and fetches a ball, brings it back and drops it, and she'll catch a ball, thrown to her from about 10-12ft. away and brings back ! She is learning awesome leash manors ie: walking with us, by our side and not pulling ! She's extremely smart on learning commands quickly. We've been very impressed.
Thank you again, for our precious new family member,
Leslie ( Atlanta )Picture taken after first grooming, around 7 months old !!!!

Hi Kellie,
We have just re-activated this email account & realizing this reply will be VERY late!  So sorry!!
We had to report back on our BEST PUP, Rocky!  He is formerly "Captain- Black" from Sadie & Spencer's 2nd Litter, DOB April 10, 2018.
Weight is 25.1 LBs & fur was red, now more butterscotch.  See photo attached!
He recently won 3rd place in the 2019 Cutest Dog contest at the US Intelligence Agency, beating out over 350 dogs.  He does not shed & has not caused any allergies in my highly allergic son!

His temperament is sweet & playful & very tolerant of the boys' rough play.  He loves to play fetch with socks, and adores all people & kids.  He is more skiddish with other dogs,, sometimes gets spooked by them.... barks from a distance & then friendly once they get close.  He has never been aggressive with any visitor or family member!
He is very smart & learned tricks very quickly!  He can do Sit, Shake, Wave, Circus Bear, & Play Dead.
Rocky is an amazing dog & we are go grateful for Gorgeous Goldendoodles!

Any questions, please contact me.  We have recommended you several times to our friends!
Jill (Rocky from Sadie and Spencer)

Hi Kellie,

Happy New Year! I just wanted to thank you for our puppy, Jack! He is such a great addition to our family!  He has been such a good puppy from the very first day we brought him home. He was wonderful on the car ride home, sleeping most of the way. He has been so very easy to potty train.  He has also been so good sleeping through the night, with an early morning potty break, from day one.

We feel so fortunate to have had you as our breeder. It is obvious the time and effort you placed into raising and training him from the very beginning.  Luke loves him, and we couldn't be more pleased.

We wish you a Very Happy New Year filled with all of God's blessings.

Warm Regards,
Ted, Heather,and Luke

Good evening and Merry Christmas Kellie!
I wanted to send along a couple of photos of Edie from Maggie and Spencer's Nov 2018 litter.  She is 20 pounds.  We couldn't love her any more than we do.  She is just starting her adult on leash training and is doing so well.  She does quite a few tricks now and she also LOVES to retrieve.  We spend hours in the backyard throwing balls.  That is when she is the happiest.  She has a wonderful temperament.  Our nieces and nephews LOVE her.  Kids and adults alike all want to take her home.  We feel so blessed to have her in our lives and she seems quite happy to be in ours too!
Thank you for all that you do to bring such joy into the lives of families everywhere with your beautiful puppies!
Very best,
Amanda (Edie from Maggie x Spencer 2018)

Black boy is 10 pounds. Does not shed at all. Super sweet. Loves dogs, people and kids.
Loves to go for walks. He was fully potty trained at 4 months. Probably had about 4 mistakes total. Very smart and loves to cuddle by our feet inside his soft sided cage.

Roosevelt (GraciexFletcher red boy 2019) has had an exciting 10 months. He moved from Boston to Amsterdam in August and has been traveling around Europe. Roosevelt is a sweetheart. He is quite big, weighs about 30 pounds I'd say. He doesn't shed. He rarely barks, loves to play with other dogs and run around, and is great in public places like restaurants and shopping centers. He's truly a city dog. He loves to ride in the basket of my bike around Amsterdam! He's still teething and chewing quite a bit, but that's normal. He has a lot of energy but overall loves to snuggle and loves to be around me! He's perfect and is a tourist attraction in Amsterdam, people all around the world ask about him.

Good to hear from you. I hope you are having a good Labor Day weekend, and that all has gone well witht the new pups. Thanks for asking about Charlie (Thor, "blue" puppy).  He is doing great.

Charlie went to the vet for his first check-up a few days after we brought him home, and again at 3 months.  In that time he went from 5+ pounds to 7 pounds, and he is now 7.4 pounds.  His legs are getting longer, and he is still very cute -- everyone says he is the cutest dog they ever saw.  His health is perfect.
He still has occasional accidents in the house, but he gets lots of potty breaks and is well on the way to being reliable about going only outside.  For a while I took him out at 2 AM every night, but he has been sleeping through the night for almost a week, which the vet says is pretty remarkable at his age.  He is getting more consistent with "sit" and we are working on the play-biting -- he still does it to my wife sometimes, but not to me. It's nothing bad, just normal puppy energy issues, and we make sure he gets excercise. On Wednesday night we start with formal training, in a small group with a trainer in Chapel Hill recommended by our vet.  He seems smart and we think he will respond well to a positive approach to training.  He has 3 crates in different parts of the house, which he enjoys, and of course dog toys are everywhere.

As far as we can tell, he does not shed at all.  I guess that's not actually possible, but if he sheds at all it is really not noticeable.  We may get him lightly groomed soon, if only to trim around his eyes and fanny, but so far his coat is all natural, loose curls, more like soft puppy fur than poodle hair so far, and a nice reddish color.  His boxy head and bright, button-eyes give him the look of a teddy bear or other stuffed animal, in a good way, as several people have said.

I'll attach a few photos, including 2 taken just last week with my wife's cousin, and one taken end of July with our some Will, on the floor.  The one where Charlie is looking for a belly rub was taken just yesterday.  He enjoys a belly rub as much as you've said Fletcher does, and from what I've seen on your web site, he continues to resemble Fletcher just as you noticed. Although energetic, he has a calm demeanor, is not bothered by thunderstorms or visitors, and he is very sociable with all people and other dogs.  He is still working out some rivalry issues with our cat, but they'll get settled soon.
Here is a link to a short video of Charlie playing with some kids who visited with their parents last weekend -- I hope the link works.  Some other kids, from across the street, always ask when he can come out to play.

https://youtu.be/v6dkt4zdnpI

Charlie is an absolutely great dog, and we love him a lot.
Best,
Ted

I hope this finds you well!
Willow is just absolutely the best puppy ever.  She's now 9 pounds (weren't her parents both 17 pounds Penelope and Fletcher? (I hope we're not feeding her too much! 1 ¼ cup daily) She doesn't shed at all, and sleeps all night in her crate. Her coat is easy to care for as I brush her every night.
She hits the door bells when she wants to go out. She loves to go outside and will play for hours if we'd stay out that long! I can't let her out alone so in this heat I can only handle about an hour at a time.
She's done great with all her shots and will complete the fourth and last round in another 3 weeks.

Paxton is doing awesome. He weighs 20 pounds and yes he does shed a little. You may recall he did have a vomiting issue for about the first year which was concerning but that seemed to improve substantially since he has turned a year old. Paxton absolutely loves people, loves going to the dog park, and he is very smart.  We did two rounds of dog training which helped with basic manners and are considering doing more. Paxton learned the commands quickest and performed most consistently in both his classes! He is an absolutely precious doggie and we love him dearly. He has brought so many smiles and laughs to our life. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Good to hear from you.  Our dog Holly is great!  She weighs about 22 pounds, sheds very little.  Very sweet, energetic, loves to play with our kids, a great dog!  Loves to be petted, brushed, and played with……protective of our family, barks when the doorbell rings or she seems something out the window (we think this is a good thing…..)……
Hope all is well with you!

Hey Kellie,

We are doing good! Enjoying Bentley each day. He has brought so much joy to our family, even my parents, who keep him while we are away love him to pieces!  He loves to chew and eat everything, more so than when he was a tiny puppy, so we still have to watch him closely to make sure he isn't getting into trouble lol.  I took him to the vet this morning for a weight check because I suspected that he had gained a few pounds since his last visit in June.  I was right, he was 18 in June and 21 this morning.  I'm not sure at this point if he will get any bigger but we'll see! As far as shedding is concerned, the only time I notice any hair is when he sits on me in the car for a long ride and there will be a few hairs on my shirt but nothing major.  I don't notice hair anywhere in our house etc.  I assume he may be losing some puppy hair as well.  You can definitely give my email or phone number for a referral.  I have been approached by many people who have asked where I got him from and I have always given them your facebook page to check out.  My neighbor whose husband and son have been begging her for a dog for 10 years is now thinking about a mini goldendoodle because of her interaction with Bentley.  She watched him one afternoon and asked me for your information when I got home.  She is currently watching your facebook page and her husband and son have their fingers crossed she decides to contact you soon! :) Her name is Lisa.  I have attached a few pictures for you to see.  Bentley loves the water, he always jumps in our pool when we swim or in the lake (with a life jacket of course).  He also loves to retrieve! We are working on making him a therapy dog.  He completed the beginner and intermediate courses in the Spring but then hit adolescence so we had him nurtured this summer and are giving him some time to grow up a little before we go any further.  I hope you had a nice summer.  Good to hear from you! Sorry so long!

Buckey is doing fantastic. He has been the best addition to our home. I have fallen in love and so has my daughter! We absolutely adore him.

Buckey does not shed at all:) He weighs 45lbs! A big boy! Buckey is a lover. He is the sweetest. He loves to be pet and will just roll over (often) so you can get right to the belly and give him a good scratch. If I make eye contact in the morning he will jump right up on the bed and demand some love. He tolerates my 8 year old daughter just fine and is very playful and protective of her. He’s very kind natured and friendly / playful with all other dogs. I don’t think there is a mean bone in his body. The only time I ever saw him snarl was at my brother’s dog when he tried to steal his bone from Santa!
Here are some pictures. It was hard to choose! Hopefully, the video comes through as it is one of my favorites.

I think often about getting another!

Thank you and hope you all are doing well.

Good morning, Kellie! Thought I'd let you know that Willis is doing great. He's only been home one week and he already knows "sit", almost there with "down", has used his potty bells to got out since Wednesday. He did great at his vet visit, and has been a hit with every person he meets. He's adjusted to his crate well, and his crying has stopped. He enjoys car rides, but is still a bit apprehensive about his car seat. He also sleeps through the night for a full 8 hours without crying or messing in his crate! Willis sends his love!

Kellie,
I just wanted to say thank you so much. Lucy is an absolutely incredible dog. She is playful, intelligent, and just so perfect I can't even tell you. Crate training has been a breeze, she's had one accident in two weeks, she plays with 100lb German Sheperds like it's nothing. She's truly a dream and I wanted to express my gratitude once more.
Best to you and your family.

Dear Kellie,
I hope you are doing well! This is Christin . My husband Steve, our 2 daughters and I got Tucker from you in April 2015. He was the blue boy from Bella and Opie's litter born February 2015. I wanted to tell you that he passed his Therapy Dog Certification! Kellie - we love him so very much. He's amazing! He's calm, loving and the sweetest dog ever! He and his brother Cooper (green boy) still hang out all the time and we love they get to grow up together. He's met Lincoln a few times (Steve's cousin from Wilmington). Just wanted to check in and tell you Tucker did it! I know we told you we wanted him to be a therapy dog so he can come to my office and we can serve in our community so I wanted to let you know! How are you? Hope you are well - those puppies you post are precious! We've sent a lot of folks your way! Please know we are grateful for you and love our Tucker more than we'd ever imagine!
Blessings,
Christin

Finn Fantastic. No shedding from him. Just now going through a bad tangle time with his fur getting a little curlier and on Wednesday he will get neutered. I wanted to wait a full year for health reasons. He is very loving and a great companion.  He is very well mannered in the car and tolerant of little kids picking him up in probably uncomfortable ways. He is finicky with his food but loves the Stella and Chewy meal enhancers that you recommended. He weights about 20.5, but Dr. Pierce thinks he should probably be around 22 lbs. He is wonderful and we are so thankful and happy to have him.
Thank you, Kellie.

Hello!
Baxter Brickles is doing great. He is spoiled rotten and as sweet as can be.  He loves running around going crazy with the kids and wrestling with his big dog sister and then settles right in for snuggles in the evening.  He is a perfect addition to our family.  He is about 18 lbs and doesn't shed at all (something we REALLY appreciate, since we have a golden retriever as our other dog).   He still eats the Taste of the wild food you sent him home with, we just transitioned him to the adult version. He loves playing with his toys and chewing rawhide sticks. They help to keep him from chewing on other toys he finds lying around ;).  I love seeing your adorable pups on facebook. Thank you so much for our sweet boy!

Hi Kellie,
As soon as the game was over tonight my son, Justin, ran over to get Lucie and took her back over to the team beach for the game recap. These big, sweaty guys turn to mush with her. It is so sweet to watch them and how much she enjoys it. Justin will be going to Elon this fall, which is where he visited the day we picked her up. I know you must be busy these days with all of those cute puppies!
Warm regards,

Hello Kelli!

We could not be happier with Festus!  He is the sweetest dog anyone could have!!!!  He has the best temperament- we actually joke that he does not have a mean bone in his body!  He loves to be held and actually hugs us in the mornings when we get up!  He just went for a check up where he weighed a little over 11 pounds and is super healthy!  He does not shed at all. We could not be happier!  I will send pictures as well.

Hi Kellie,
Sorry for the delay in getting back with you! Tucker happened to have a vet appointment last week, so I was waiting until then to give you the update.
Tucker is great! He is friendly, funny and sweet. We adore him and vice versa.

Weight wise - He has actually gotten pudgy around the middle. He weighed in at 42 pounds at the vet -- and I was told that that is too much for his height - that he needs to lose about 4-5 pounds. He gets plenty of exercise, so I have switched dog foods and hopefully he will slim down a little.
Shedding - he sheds a little bit. We don't notice it when we pet him, but I do when I sweep or vacuum or brush him. But it's not much. My mom has always had Shelties, and it's nothing like that! :)
A few pictures and one 5-sec video are attached.

Finally - a question for you: are any of the people listed above living in the Cary-Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area? We all talk about how fun it would be to give Tucker a playdate with his siblings. I would love to get in touch with any Lily-Opie pup owners that are nearby.
Hope this finds you and your family doing great.
Thank you!

Hi Kellie,
Jake (September 2014) is 32 pounds and doesn't really shed, but we do try to keep his fur trimmed pretty short.  When we let it grow longer we tend to find more hair around the house, but nothing major.

I have attached a couple of recent photos.
Thanks!

Wrigley weighs about 34 lbs and he doesn’t shed hardly at all.  He is absolutely the best dog we have ever had!  He is great with the kids and is very low maintenance.  The only issue we have with him is digging in the backyard and pulling up the weed paper under the mulch.  He has been such a joy to add to our family.  I love him so much that I’m trying to talk my wife in getting him a doodle buddy!  I’ve attached the picture that we used for our Christmas card (my daughter said if she had to wear a dress that Wrigley had to wear a tie).  The kids also had a birthday party for Wrigley (see photo attached)!

Hi Kellie!
Beau is doing amazing and is SO smart!!!
The vet has told us that he is definitely taken more of the golden retriever side rather than the poodle side.
He is a whopping 41 pounds and the vet says he's healthier than ever! He is definitely built more like the golden retriever.
thank you so much for such an amazing dog!!!!

Wally - 3 in September - 28ish pounds - no shedding - best cuddles ever, super smart, will do anything for food, loves other dogs, people, and kids

Finn - 1 in August - 21 pounds - shed a little with puppy hair but none now, super super super smart, acts just like his puppy videos, wild child, super protective and devoted ... follows me around, loves his brother, no issues at daycare but barks a bit at other people and dogs ... this may be the puppy phase, loves tennis balls, has always been great in crate

Both are the best in the car. Here are some recent pics. Can you tell I'm obsessed?

Good morning Kellie,
Murphy is doing great! At his last vat appointment he weighed 48 pounds. Murphy sheds very little, especially when he's trimmed down. In the winter when we let him be his fluffy best, he did shed a little more. Murphy is very smart. He's great with our kids (ages 9 and 5) and he was super easy to train. We love our Murphy boy. I'm attaching a picture of him from a few weeks ago and one from his birthday.

We got Ruffin from Lilly and Opie's December 2015 litter.  Ruffin was originally Luke (black ribbon).  Ruffin loves to run in the backyard and chase tennis balls.  He does enjoy the water too!! Any opportunity to get wet he will.  Ruffin has two bothers that live in our neighborhood and he loves to play with them.
Ruffin is a year and 3 months old and 38 lbs. He does not shed.

Finnley (from Lily and Opie) is now 40 pounds! Best dog ever! So many friends now have goldendoodles but not one compares to Finnley! The groomers in Winter Park , Fl tell me he is by far the best dog they ever had! I think the best thing he does is when little kids want to pet him he just stands still like a toy soldier and never are they scared. So many children that have been afraid of dogs are not now not because of how Finnley lets them get used to him by not even turning his head as to scare them. I never did crate training and always let him roam free without any chewing or bad behavior ever. Everyone says he has the perfect coat never matts and say he must have come from very exceptional breeders. We can never tell you how thankful we are that we found you. The plane trip was well worth traveling to get him!
Thank you,

Kellie,
We named our puppy River Bean. He is all settled in with us at our home with our cat (his new bff), Rooster. He knows how to sit and to stay! He is smart, cuddly, and even-tempered. We can't imagine life without him now.

Hi Kellie!
Noodle is doing great! He just got neutered one week ago and spends all of his time playing and snuggling...I am pretty sure he is in contention for the most spoiled dog in the world. His favorite things are the dog park in Orlando and his squeaky toys. Plus, all of his new adult teeth are coming in! He's been to the beach and has gone hiking and never seems to tire when he's having fun!

Here are some photos of him (and Freud is in quite a few!)

Hi Kellie,
Our pup is doing great! We do not know how we ever lived without her. We named her Brecken! She is not only GORGEOUS (OK I am bragging like a mom) but she has the best personality. She LOVES everyone and has not met a stranger. Her tag wags at the sight of everyone. She is just so loving. Did I mention she is so smart to? She caught on quick to sit and enjoys playing fetch. I have had dogs before but this one has stole my heart beyond what I could have imagined.

If you know of families in my area that have one of your pups it would be great to be able to meet up. We are always looking to get Brecken out socializing. :)  We live just North of Charlotte.

Thank you and Take Care,
Kathryn (Brecken is from Paisley and Zach)

Hi Kellie,
We have, Ruby. She is the pink girl from Bella and Opie's litter in
February 2015.
Ruby is the perfect dog!. She just had her first birthday. Weighs about 15 pounds. Never sheds a hair. Super smart, friendly and loving. She brings out the best in our family. We can't thank you enough for the amazing job you do helping bring these puppies into the world. I cannot count the number of times people comment, "We want a dog exactly like Ruby!" We live in Brevard, so are surrounded by mountains. With very little training, Ruby has been a natural at hiking. She can safely be off leash and stays right with us. She loves to explore but always quickly comes back to be close to us.Ruby tops our list of things we are thankful for.
With much gratitude,

March 5, 2016  Here is a note from Tucker's family:

We are doing awesome! Tucker (Bella's blue collar boy) is the best dog ever! Seriously! He is super chill and laid back. Not as cuddly as his brother Cooper (Bella's green collar boy) but he is so loving and we love him like crazy! He has a fantastic temperament and is great with people and dogs. He has his canine good citizen certification and now that he's one, we are getting ready to start the therapy dog classes. He has been to my office already several times! He loves to ride in the car and take our girls back and forth to school.
Tucker and Cooper see each other all the time which is awesome! They play and take walks together several times a week!
He is 19 pounds, which is a bit smaller than we thought but honestly, he's perfect!
Here are a couple pictures of Tucker and one of the brothers. Cooper is on the left, Tucker on the right. Feel free to post them on your Facebook if you want!
Hope you and your family are well. We talk about bringing him up to see you guys all the time! He looks just like Bella and acts like her too!

Thank you for Tucker!(from Bella and Opie)

Hi Kellie,
Jake is doing great! He is the best dog.  He weighs approx. 30 pounds and doesn't really shed at all. His hair does mat easily in some places if we don't stay on top of it, so we take him the groomers regularly and keep the hair on the shorter side. I have attached a recent photo for you.
I will spread the word about Lily's most recent litter. They are so adorable!!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday!

We could not be more in love with Ellie. She is smart, well behaved and loves everyone. She is about 35 pounds and doesn't noticeably shed. I have thousands of pictures but they are on my old phone. I will send what i have taken this month. She loves the boat, the beach, the yard and any place she can dig holes. I would like to get another female from the same parents next fall if you are breeding them then.

Sophie (left) is the sweetest dog!! She is a cuddler, loves kids, LOVES to eat & dig She is the perfect size -about 19 pounds. We have not noticed any shedding. I would have 100 Sophie's if I could!!!! (from Lily and Opie 2014)
Ellie is sweet too:-). She just loves me the most:-). She has always been a little skittish & gets nervous if kids are running around crazy. We have to be careful b/c she will growl at people if they come up to her while sleeping or unexpected. (from Bella and Opie 2013)  Her and Sophie LOVE each other and get along so well!!
Hope you are well!

Hi Kellie!,
Hope you're having a great summer so far! As you probably remember, Jon and I planned to move back to California after his graduation and we talked about driving across the United States from Durham, NC to Los Angeles, CA. Well, we are currently on our road trip and I wanted to update you because I remember you were really excited about Milo's travels!
I've attached some pictures but there are more on Milo's Instagram: https://instagram.com/chasing_milo/  (yes, I've made an Instagram for him!) It's regularly updated with pictures so you can check it frequently. I hope it's a way that we can also keep in touch and a way for you to watch Milo grow up :)

The first picture is of the very first haircut that Milo got... really handsome! We had to make sure that he was ready for the road trip since we'll be traveling through LA, TX, AZ, CO, etc. The second picture is of Milo in front of the Peachoid (a giant peach statue) in Georgia. The Peachoid was a road-side attraction and we stopped for a quick picture. Milo also went to Atlanta, but there were just pictures of him in the park so it wasn't really distinctive. After GA, we went to TN and stopped by Rock City, TN (http://www.seerockcity.com/) and Milo had a reallllly good walk. The last picture is of Milo in front of the Tennessee Parthenon.
We're currently in New Orleans, but Milo hasn't really been getting out since New Orleans isn't really that dog friendly. We'll be heading out to TX tomorrow and then the desert states. I'll be updating Milo's Instagram so please keep up with us and keep in touch.
Hope your family is well and happy summer!
Love,
Amy and Milo (from Paisley and Opie's 2015 litter)

Hi Kellie,
Great hearing from you!  Sully is amazing!  We ADORE him :)  We "graduated" from Puppy Class II (Carolina Dog Training at the Lewis Center) and are signed up for Beginner I starting in April.  He's a love so I think he just may be a good candidate for Therapy dog!
He weighed 16 lbs. about two months ago when he got "snipped."  He looks a tad taller now, so am guessing he is probably in the 16 toÂ18 pound range. No shedding!  Yay!
I can't express to you how much we love him.  He is a joy!  Handsome too... see attached pics.
All the best,

Hi Kellie,
Yogi is doing very well. He weighs about 34 lbs and doesn't shed at all. We have enjoyed having him a part of our family and it is nice that he gets to see his 'sister' (Cocoa: The Wilsons) from down our street often.
Here is a picture of Yogi from this summer that one of our friends took of him. Caught him perfectly. We hope all is well with you.

Hi Kellie!,
Hope you had a wonderful birthday weekend with your family and friends! I just wanted to update you really quickly about Milo's first weekend home with us! He was absolutely great during the car ride so THANK YOU so much for taking him around a few times before the big day. He slept in his crate with minimal whining that first night, and almost no whining on the second night :) He's still learning to go potty on his pee pad but we think he's slowly getting the hang of it... maybe another week or so and he will go there by himself. And we took him outside yesterday to run around (he wears a little sweater so he won't get cold) - he had a great time and napped for 2 hours afterwards. Seriously, this pup lives the life!
Thank you soooo much for all of your love and care for Milo! We love him so much already :) Can't wait to take him back to visit you guys!
Love,
Amy and Jon (Milo is from Paisley and Opie's 2014 litter)

Kellie,
So nice to hear from you. Our Annie is wonderful. Best personality in the world. She really actually truly talks. She says "I love you" and "where have you been and why didn't you take me with you". She weighs 23 pounds and never varies more than a few ounces. Her coat is beautiful and she does not shed at all. We adore her and she adores us. She has so many friends in our neighborhood. There are two enormous labs that she loves and they love her. We all take walks together around our one mile lake. She is also a hunter and loves to chase the squirrels away from our courtyard.. She will be three in March. How could the time pass so quickly? You can tell that we love her so much. Thank you for breeding such wonderful dogs. Annie sends her love and we do as well.

Hi Kellie,
Jake is such a wonderful puppy - so well behaved and loving. He goes to doggie daycare about twice a week now and has started puppy training classes on Saturday mornings and he is doing awesome at both. He is great sleeping in the crate and hanging out in it if we need to leave him home, and he rarely barks anymore He is about 17 lbs now. (6 months) How does that compare with others from his litter?
I have attached a photo from earlier this week. He has his first grooming appointment tomorrow so I will send you another photo of what he looks like when we get the hair out of his eyes smile emoticon
We can't thank you enough for bringing Jake into our lives...he's just perfect.
Stephanie (Jake is from Lily and Opie)

Good morning, Kellie and family,

WE had a super day with Murphy and an even more super night. Murphy put himself to bed at ten o'clock and didn't stir until 5:45. We all got a good rest.
When we arrived home after 4 the other two grand kids were so excited to see Murphy. We watched Murphy interact with their dog, Maggie. After the first few minutes Murphy didn't cry out and started to enjoy being around another dog. Maggie will leave before lunch today so then we can get to work with training. Before the fireworks everyone was outdoors playing. Murphy was right with us exploring his new property. He seems to be interested in chewing flowers. I would always catch him doing it and said NO. The kids starting running around the perimeter of the house and the two dogs were in hot pursuit. I think Murphy made that run three times before everyone got tired. We kinda thought that he would sleep well that night and he sure did.
We decided to take him to the fireworks. When the noise started he seemed to respond to it with a bit of shaking. Caroline brought him to me and both Bob and I decided that he appeared to be slightly frightened. I took him to the car, turned on the music and he calmed down. So we don't know if that was a good thing or not. Guess we'll find out later on.
The one thing he's doing is rubbing his behind on the floor (or carpet). We're thinking that there could be a problem for him. He sees the vet on Tuesday. What do you think?
I have yet to read all the material you sent but we left not knowing how much dry food to feed him. I haven't offered him much but watch to see how much he eats at a time and that's not much at all. He's drinking water. With Maggie here we can't leave his food on the floor for long. Bob and I think he is a delightful dog and very playful which we love. We are continuing with the fetch game and he's doing "ok". Thanks for teaching him that for us.
Guess I've filled you in on enough stuff. I'll write again after we see the vet on Tuesday.
THANK YOU for having Bella and agreeing that we'd make good parents. Murphy makes a wonderful addition to our family.
Sue and Bob
(Murphy is from Bella and Opie's May 2014 f1b litter)
Kellie,

Thanks for your advice since it worked last night. There was crying but with the music he quieted down after about ten minutes and we were able to sleep. This afternoon we see the vet.
OH yes! Exciting news! This morning was the first time he went to the door and rang the bells. I took him outdoors and he peed!!! Amazing how that works. Love it.
He knows his name and will come when we call him. He's fetching nicely and is very playful. Love love love him.

Smitten! That pretty much sums it up! We love our new little fella so much! He's doing great...no accidents in the house (yet). Going potty in natural area like a champ!
He did so good last night. Put him to bed around 11 o'clock ... He made a couple of squeaks...no major howling or whining...didn't make a peep all night! He seems to be settling in just fine:)
Off to the vet in a few...we'll keep you posted on his progress.
Thanks do much,
Molly

Thank you so much for keeping Zoey! We will be coming in Friday, February 15th, probably 3:30-4:30pm? And would be picking Zoey up on Sunday either before or after church. Just let me know what works best for you all. We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone! Zoey is going to have so much fun! Last time she was weighed was 24lbs, but will be taking her in shortly for another shot, so we will see. No shedding at all! She is so smart, thinks she is human!

Hi Kellie,
Here is Buddy! He is a little curly due to hair length and rain/snow. He still gets to play regularly with Layla. At least until Layla's grandparents move. Susan said that you are breeding Bella again? Is that right? I would love to know if you have placed anymore of Bella's offspring in Carrboro/Chapel Hill. Buddy is about 35 lbs now and stands about knee height. He is probably four inches taller than Layla. And, we still think he is the best dog ever! -Beth .

Hi Kellie,
Annie is doing great. She is a little bit of a rascal, but that makes her even more fun. Just a little mischievous. Loves to think up what she can get into next.
We adore her.
She is now twenty pounds and growing. Annie is the center of attention in our neighborhood.Every one has to stop to see her. So cute and loves everyone. Plays at our vet's "doggie play days" twice a week and gets along well with other dogs. All in all, I would say that she is well adjusted and very happy. Sleeps in her crate, never wakes up at night. Goes into her crate during the day (by herself) if she gets tired. Eats well, loves to protect our home by barking at anyone who comes by. She is beautiful and loves to be groomed.  As you can see, we are thoroughly in love with her. Will send pictures later.

Annie is sooo sweet. Had her bi annual check up today. Weighs a whopping 22 pounds, Loves to play, eats and leeps well. A perfectly bred littlegirl. Has great manners. Being trained by Angel from Paws in Training from Raleigh.  Such a positive experience for all. Hoping to add a playmate for her with another Kellie Miller golden doodle. Let me know when you will be having more babies.
Annie has enriched our lives. Thank you for your wonderful parents and perfect breeding. Need to get on the list again. I think another little girl.
Much love, Grace.

We will next train for distractions. This is a five week program given by Angel Wasserman from Raleigh (Paws In Training).  She has degrees in animal behavior and is the most positive trainer anyone could ever want. Hard to believe that she is almost one year old.

Levi is doing great! He has learned how to stay in the yard with the electric fence. We use the yellow flags in various places in the house with out a shocker and he still obeys the flags. He loves to ride in the car with me and he loves the boys. Levi plays very well with other dogs and only likes to torment our cat. She has learned how to get behind the yellow flags. Hi!
Russ and I just checked your website for updates. The photo of Izzy and Palmer is a favorite, he was so small. He now weighs 22 lbs and follows her everywhere. He too speaks dog talk, it's so funny. Recently when he woke up and looked at us he said "Morn'in" Russ laughed and said "did he just say what I thought he said" we both couldn't believe it. He's is still quite vocal and lets us know when he wants something or for that matter when Izzy wants something or has to go outside. We call him the town cryer.
We really enjoyed seeing the pups and hearing from their owners. All are so pleased and happy with their pups. We noticed Coca Ginger Snap has gotten together with her litter mate in Cary. Since we live close by in Apex we would also like to get together for a play date. Would you mind giving me info to contact the owners or forward my info to them.
As promised I will be sending photo's soon.
Love and Blessings to your family,
Donna (Palmer from Bella and Ruben's 2011 litter of F1b minis)

Hi Kellie
Coco is doing great, she ways around 17 pounds. She was just spayed and is about half way through her 14 day recovery.
She has visited with her sister Lucy and had a lot of fun. They live pretty close by in Cary. One of our neighbors is buying one of your new pups!
They are a very nice family and Coco will have a playmate right up the street which is great!
Thanks for staying in touch and hope all is well.

Hey Kellie!
Cocoa is doing great! She is such a joy to our family. She has attained the nicknames of "Cocoa Bear" and "Puppy Bear." She is a great mixture of sweet, cuddly and playful, rambunctious! She is super smart and very obedient to commands. She was just spayed a week and half ago and did great with the surgery. The hardest part has definately been keeping her calm during her healing process...but only a few more days until she can be released to chase sticks and balls in the yard!! She currently weighs about 14.5 lbs...and it seems to us that unless she has a few more growth spurts...she is definately slowing down in growth...she may be getting close to being full grown?? She has all her big girl teeth.
I have people ask me all the time about her...specifically her unique color. I had no idea you had another litter in March!! Are these pups all spoken for?? I'd love to see pics of Cocoa's brothers and sisters as you get them!
Hope you have a great day!!
Blessings,

Our little fluff ball, Lucy, is doing great!  She is so sweet!  Her and Lily (our Schnauzer) get along great. Here are a few pics.  She was great at the beach and then TN to meet our family and the Smokey Mountains.
Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
Thanks,

Kellie,
"Duke" is doing great! He and his buddy "Dog" get along so well and play all the time except when they take their naps. The little one is already at 14 pounds and just finished his third round of shots. He can sit on demand and speak on demand and sleeps on his back and he is Pam's best buddy! He truly has been a blessing and never poses a problem... he has only had a few urine mistakes but has not pooped in the house a single time. We could not be more pleased and he has truly been a welcomed addition to our family.
Thank you so much for keeping up with him and us and I hope you have a great new year!

Hey Kellie,

I'm sending this latest picture of Tulip.  When I got home the other day, Casey had dressed her up.  We have this great "dog boutique" in Hampstead that makes dog clothes so Casey thought we should have some.  It's hilarious!  We had a great holiday and hope you all did. We all start obedience training on Saturday although Tulip is very smart and well behaved.  People are just amazed at her.  She loves the beach and has started getting in the water.  And, always meets a lot of new friends.  We just love her!!!I've found a lady here that will keep her when Casey travels and I have to work.  After touring the doggie daycares here, we've decided she's a little young for that yet so we feel the dog sitter is better for her right now. Thanks for checking in and we really do want to know when the next litter will be available.

Fall 2011
Hi Kellie,
Things are going great. Tulip has made herself at home with us.  Allof our family and friends absolutely adore her and people have been stopping us to ask about her.  She made her first trip to the beach on Sunday. She didn't quite know what to think about all of the sand but had a great time!

Have you recovered?  I know it must be a ton of work.  It's been a while since we have had a puppy so we have been a little sleep deprived ourselves.Tulip does not like her crate and makes no bones about it.  She does fine with the door open but has a fit when the door is closed.  She has been sleeping in our bedroom on Casey's side of the bed in her crate with the door open but boxed in so she cannot roam around.  She gets up to potty about 3-4 times a night.  It is fine but we are both ready for a full nights sleep.

We took her to her first vet visit today and she did great!  She actually took a nap on the exam table as we were talking to the vet.  He could not even believe how good she is.  She got a very good report.  She weighed 7.25 pounds and everything else looked great.

Casey and I cannot thank you enough for providing us with sweet Tulip.  We already love her so much and are so happy to have her as a part of our family!
Take care!
Martha (Tulip is from Bella and Ruben)

Hi Kellie,
Here are a few pictures of our sweet Tulip.  She has adjusted so well to our family and we are so thrilled to have her.  Thanks again and happy holidays!
Tulip is doing great!  We took your suggestion and leave her in the crate when we'll be gone during short intervals so she'll get used to it.  We've already spoiled her rotten but she's worth it.  I cannot tell you how pleased we are with her.Take care and Merry Christmas!Martha. Things are going great!Coco has been eating solid food since we first got her home. She wasn't eating as much the first few days but now finishes everything. She is very comfortable here and is establishing a pretty good routine. For the most part she has been going into her crate at around 10:30 and sleeping at least until 4:30 or 5am.Last night was the first night she cried at around 2am but we left her downstairs and she stopped, slept until 5:45am!Thanks and we will reach out to the other local folks soon.

Kellie,
By all means, you can use us as a reference again. Graysie is still the best dog on the planet and I will gladly tell anyone who will listen all about how wonderful she is and how that was the best $$ we ever spent. She is still only about 16.5 lbs so she is a petite little girl. When are you going to have another litter?Teresa (Gracie is from Bella and Ruben's 2010 litter)

 Kellie,
Absolutely.  Feel free to use us as a reference.  Max is doing great!!  Full of energy.  He makes us smile every day.  He’s a little under 35 lbs last time we weighed him.  He really enjoyed Christmas!  I couldn’t keep bows on any of my presents.  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well.

Hello ,
I will be happy to tell you all about our Gorgeous Goldendoodle from Kellie Miller.  First off - it was a real treat to be allowed to come out and meet the pups well before time to come home.  We went several times and loved all of them.  Some breeders will only let you see the dogs at time of picking and the Millers were very open to prior visits.

We selected ours (Tucker) primarily because of gender (male) and coat type.  We already owned one of Tuckers Uncles (Charlie) from Ruben's side.  Charlie was/is one of the best dogs I ever owned and my family (of five) talked me into getting another Doodle.  We found Kellie through our other breeder. We loved this blood line but her dog had aged out.

We were interested in a new Doodle but wanted one with a similar coat type.  We like wavy hair - but not too curly.  So we concentrated on on the less curly ones.  Bella and Ruben produce the most beautiful color coat I have ever seen on a doodle.  You know most common is the blonde type, then some blacks and grays…but the Millers' are the most beautiful red brown - I have not seen this color anywhere else.  We get the most compliments on these dogs - especially Tuckers color. Then we were looking for one that was energetic but not too much.  It was fairly easy to select - they were all beautiful.
Tucker is one year old now and weighs about 25 lbs. (Charlie is three and weighs about 40 lbs - he is not fat just a little bigger parents).  Tucker's temperament is excellent.  He plays hard - but also sleeps a lot and is so gentle natured.  He is very loving and is so excited when we come home - he makes a lot of funny sounds through his throat - not barks so much but dog talk - it is really cute - very vocal when a loved one returns to the "pack".

He has been a handful for Charlie - but that has been really good for both of them.  He was easily house trained, sits on command, comes when called, and will even sit and "stay" until released while playing fetch.  He is ball crazy like most all retrievers.  He does well on a leash and he and Charlie have been trained to sit when the "walker" stops - with a small command of "whoa".

He is inseparable from Charlie - follows him everywhere.  Charlie follows me everywhere - so I have a "pack" of doodles following me everywhere I go.  These dogs are truly people   dogs.  Charlie has never wondered off - on the couple occasions he got outside our fence - he just sat at the side door wanting back in the house.  When ever I let him out to play he just wanted to come back in the house unless we were outside with him.  So Tucker has turned out to be exactly the same - we assume this because he is always with Charlie.
Charlie - is very docile and Tucker is a little more Alpha - so even though Charlie is a little taller/bigger Tucker takes control with "ball games" - which is OK - somebody has to be the leader.
Health issues have not been an issue with either dog.  Simple pet maintenance has been the only Vet experience.  If we had the room for another Kellie Miller Gorgeous Goldendoodle - I would buy one in a heart beat.  I'll be glad to send some pictures if you like...
Stephen (Tucker is from Bella and Ruben's 2012 litter)

Kellie,
I have been thinking about sending you an update about Graysie and was glad to get your email! I will send you some pictures of her from my phone which is where most of my pics are. She is just the best dogbaby ever! Her hair is much more loosely curled than Harley's and so soft. She still loves to me held like you would hold a toddler so that she can put her head on your shoulder. So sweet! She probably weighs about 15 lbs or so. Maybe a little more. She is very smart and so loving with everyone and absolutely everyone we meet comments on her and how cute she is and how great her little spirit is. Her favorite thing is to be with mom and to play with other dogs. We have just started our third session of obedience classes and she is demonstrating just how smart she is. I could go on forever about her but instead I will stop and just say that she is the best dog I have ever had and even though I thought I was crazy to spend that much money for her, she was worth every penny. She does not shed at all by the way, but she does tangle! I will send some pics later. Hope you are doing well and staying as cool as possible.

Zoey is such a joy with the sweetest disposition! We believe she thinks she is our third child and we treat her that way:) She is do smart! Rings a bell to potty and fetches anything and brings it to you. She loves everyone and they love her, kisses are abundant with her. Everywhere we go, strangers come up and ask what kind of breed she is and they are in awe of her! She was spayed on June 22nd and weighed 17.9 lbs. We love her so much and can't imagine life without her! Thank you Kellie and we would love to bring her to see her family sometime:)
Just forwarded photos of Zoey, but forgot to mention NO shedding:) I have had black shorts on and she is all around me and nothing! Can’t wait to see pictures of her brothers and sisters too. Harley is so handsome, is this one you kept? Olivia still talks about “Pink”! Wanted to see if the owner could give her to us to adopt!! Hope all is well with you and your family and loved seeing the pictures, thank you!
…also wanted to say that she will run 4 miles with me and not stop, but if it’s a work day at home, will lay right next to me by laptop and just hang!! Love that!! Think she takes a lot after the golden retriever:)
Best regards,

Tosha SC

Hey.
It is great to hear from you. Max is doing great. He is a bundle of energy. He is REALLY enjoying the girls being home every day this summer. I think he might go through withdrawal when school starts back. I’ve attached the picture of Breanne, Grace, and Max that I have has my background on my computer at the moment. I’ll send a few more when I get home. I hope you all are having a wonderful summer!

 Hi Kellie,
Things here are very fine and, hard to believe, Zoey celebrated her third birthday last month. She continues to exceed our expectations and has become a beloved member of our household providing both Leta and I with lots of love and companionship.
Since I enjoy taking her shopping with me we get stopped by people all the time asking what kind of dog she is and where we got her. We actually ran into your husband's cousin at Home Depot recently while another couple were admiring Zoey and asking where we found her. I've lost track of the number of folks I've given your number because they were interested in getting a Zoey of their own!
Would you be interested in boarding Zoey for a couple of weeks in September while we do some travelling? Please let me know if you are and what our cost would be. We would provide food, snacks and toys for her stay. I know she would enjoy visiting with your dogs.
Best to all,

Nathan- Greensboro, NC

Kellie,
I meant to write you sooner to tell you how Graysie is doing. She is just the sweetest girl ever. You were right, she is very special. Absolutely everyone in our neighborhood is in love with her. People buy little presents for her and all the kids adore her too. She thinks everyone she sees is her best friend and every dog is there to play with her. This annoys the more mature dogs like crazy but the ones with any puppy left in them love her. She is incredibly submissive but also has a stubborn streak which comes out the most on walks. She loves to go for walks but only wants to go where SHE wants to go and when she does not want to go where you want her to go, she just sits down and will NOT BUDGE. We have completed one obedience class and are about to start another. She looks just the same only bigger. She has gotten up to 10 whole lbs now. She is not that big of an eater and not all that crazy about treats either. Mostly she just loves people and belly rubs and other dogs that will play with her.

I had a neighbor ask for your contact information because she has a coworker that is interested in getting a golden doodle. Is it okay for me to give her your email address?

Hi Kellie! Sorry for the delayed response. Joe and I have been super busy with the puppy and work. Sampson is doing well and we are getting used to the puppy schedule and all it takes to care for him.

He has gotten used to sleeping in his crate and has slept through the night for the last 2 nights. He is going to 'doggie daycare' 3 days a week at the training facility where we are doing 'puppy kindergarten' training. He gets to socializing with other dogs and he definitely gets his exercise.
I saw the puppy book you created. It looks great. I liked seeing the photos of Bella as she grew. Today I noticed Sampson's legs have grown a little... he is growing up.
Joe and I love him to bits! Thank you!

Hello.
I just wanted to let you know what a good time we are having with Max! He is such a sweetie!! The weekend went great. He didn’t cry much either night. I think the girls wore him out playing so much. His vet appointment this afternoon went perfectly. The vet said he looks great. She was very impressed with him. Thanks again for all your hard work with them over these past weeks. We will keep you posted as he continues to grow!!

Hey!
Max is doing great!! He is so much fun. We seem to have settled into a nice routine with him. The girls absolutely adore him, and he loves them too. He is quite the social doggie and wants someone with him whenever possible. He usually wakes up once a night, but that isn’t so bad. The first vet appointment last week was great and he starts puppy class on Saturday. That should be a hoot!

Thanks again for all you have done. We will send pictures soon. I can’t believe how much he has grown in just a week and a half.

Hi Kellie,
Here are 3 pictures, but none with Gerald or me. The 1st one is Harley in the box when we brought him home. The others were taken on Jan 23. I might have some on the camera of him with me the 1st morning home. I have to look when I get home from work.

Harley is doing great. He sleeps in his crate through the night - from about 9:30 until 5:00, which is wonderful! He normally goes into the crate on his own at night, but he cries & yelps when we leave him in the crate any other time. Right now, someone (normally me) is going home around 1:00 to let him out during the day. I am a little worried, though, that he might never be able to "hold it" the whole day. He hits the bell on the door to go "out" to potty. (However, sometimes he hits it just because he wants to go out to play) He can sit & shake. Gerald is working on laying down. My 23-year old son (my youngest who lives in Greensboro) has been very impressed with him. He's not normally a dog person. We have to say "no bite" a lot, but I know he is teething. We go to the vet tomorrow for a shot.
At night sometimes, he goes "wild" before going to bed. He goes in to the crate (on his own) & bites & pulls on his bed for a few minutes. He really goes at it. What do you think he is doing?
We love him! Thank Bella for us!
Sandra & Gerald (Bella and Ruben)

Hi Kellie
The 1st night went better than the 2nd. He yelped & cried a lot last night. I let him out around 12:30 & sat up with him for a few minutes, then put him back in his crate. He obviously was just looking for comfort. He's had 2 small pee pee accidents but otherwise house training is going well. He is so cute. We bought him a tiny tennis ball & he fetches it pretty good.He was asleep when we came back from church today.  We're going to try & wear him out this afternoon. so maybe he will sleep better tonight. I'll send you some pictures soon.
The vet visit went well. They had a fit over him. Our son came in with his full sizegolden doodle today. He & Harley were so funny together. Harley should be tired tonight.
Did you ever sell the little girl?
Thanks.Sandra (Harley is from Bella and Ruben)

Hi Kellie,                Dec 09, 2010
Yankee is doing well. Very peppy--sometimes a bit more than seems warranted. When someone comes to the door, he is thrilled. It is a problem that we can't seem to get him to stop jumping on people in exuberance. (The Orkin guy, wearing gloves and carrying a spray thing, is an exception. We're afraid Yankee will tear off his leg.) No matter who visits, we need to keep Yankee on his leash.

All we have to do is tell him he's going "bye bye," and he is just beside himself with joy and excitement. He has a big yard here, but hates to be outside unless one of us is on the porch. (He likes an audience.) He sees the groomer more often than I see the hairdresser. Just had his "do" on Monday.
He isn't a great eater. We've found that switching dog food brands and mixing in people food or chicken broth occasionally keeps him interested. Otherwise, his food will simply sit untouched for a day or two. Then he'll nibble just enough to keep from starving. The same food though, after a few days of another brand, will appeal to him. He is a strong, muscular 40 pounds, and seems healthy. He just had his BORD. Yankee is good on car rides and seems to settle in well when we visit out-of-state family. Today he waited in the car for about 15 minutes (a first) while we mailed some packages at the Post Office. That was good. Maybe someday we'll be able to go into a fast food place for lunch on a trip instead of eating off the trunk.
How is Bella? What do you hear about Yankee's other siblings? How are Liberty and Redman? (Yankee sends his love.)
I'll see if I can attach a fairly recent (Thanksgiving) photo here.
Have a wonderful Christmas,
Linda (and Dave)(Yankee is from Libby and Redman's '09 litter)

Hi Kellie,
Lily is doing great...thanks for asking!  She is such a great dog and a wonderful addition to our family.  She has such a great personality and is so smart.  She is also very loving and thinks she's a lap dog.  We are convinced sometimes that she is a human trapped in a dogs body because her eyes are so expressive that it's almost as if she's trying to communicate with us.  We would love for you to come by anytime for a visit.  We also would love to see pictures of her litter mates, especially the last little boy puppy from her litter that we were considering when we chose Lily.  We have thought about him and wondered how he was doing.  My son wanted us to chose him instead of Lily and cried for the first week that we had Lily b/c he was sad that we didn't choose the boy puppy.  He loves Lily now and we know we made the right choice but we are still curious about the puppy that could have been ours.  If you have any info or pictures we'd love to see them.
I will attach a few photos of Lily.  Best of luck to you with the new litters coming. Keep in touch!

Hi Kellie,
I recently took some precious pictures of Mac and wanted to share them with you. He is still doing great, happy, and healthy! He has grown to be quite the guard dog over the last year. He isn't at all vicious (although, he has a deep sounding bark), but while I am home alone, he barks at anything that moves outside and rests facing the door in whatever room I am in. He fills in as "man of the house." When my husband is home, he is relaxed and doesn't bark at all. Why pay for an alarm system? HAHA! He would never hurt anyone, but I like knowing he is going to let me know if someone is outside.

Hi Kellie!

It's been a while since I updated you on Mac. I'm not sure if I have emailed you from this email account or not, but this is my new "married" account. We recently moved to Albemarle, NC and Mac has a great, big, fenced-in back yard now! It was the major selling point of the house. We had to have a fenced-in yard for him. He is so wonderful and happy. He has the house to himself while we are at work and we take him out to play ball when we get home. He is addicted to tennis balls. Needless to say, he is a perfect gentleman while we are away and does no wrong! We had his haircut again for the summer. He is so hot-natured! Naturally, he thinks he looks goooood! He is in great health and the vet's office describes him as "wiggly." But, they never want him to leave when he is there. We love him so much and sing your praises all the time for bringing him into our lives. We feed him Blue Buffalo, Life Protection Formula and we hope it helps give us MANY more years of love and affection from our little Monkey, AKA "Mac-the-Doodle"! I can't believe he will be TWO soon! My step-daughter is 3 and a half, and he is SO gentle and loving towards her. She calls him her "'bruhder' and best friend". He even sleeps with her when she is here on the weekends, and sits by her when she is crying as if he is so concerned. We couldn't ask for a better dog! Here are some recent pictures. P.S. He weighs in at a whopping 75 lbs.!

Hey Kellie,

I hope you and your family are going well.  I wanted to send you some pictures of ZuZu.  She is doing very well and walks around with a smile on her face everyday.  We think that she is pretty much done growing at this point and weighs 25 lbs.  She really does not shed and her coat is a beautiful apricot.  We have had numerous people pull their car over while we are on our walks to ask to pet her and find out where we got her from and what type of dog she is.  Needless to say she has become very famous in the neighborhood. Thanks again for giving us this unbelievable dog.  Let me know when you plan  on having another mini litter; my Mom will be interested.

Just wanted to let you know that I have finally found Bailey's paperwork!  Thanks for the offer to help with getting another copy... but thankfully I was finally able to locate it in between 2 phone books!  Who would have ever thought.Anyway thanks and Bailey is doing great, she is now sleeping through the night from 930pm-6am  when we wake her up by going into the kitchen to get the day started! She does well with come and sit and is learning to walk on the leash.  She has had very few accidents in the house... really only due to our fault for not getting her out when we should. There's a picture attached.
Thanks, Beth (1/12/09) (Mini-Doodle from Liberty and Redman)

Hi Kellie,
The vet loved the puppy today. They said she was one of the most well behaved puppies they had seen.Of course they said she was the cutest too....but that's their job right?

Kellie,
Everything has been going very well. "Jeter" has been very playful and very active. My son and I have been playing outside and inside a lot with her. A lot of running! Jeter has been sleeping great at night. She goes to sleep around 10-11pm and doesn't wake up until 7am!!! She goes to the bathroom a lot when she is awake though. She has a good appetite. She has not really had an accident.Jeter is soooooo smart. She learned how to sit, lay down, heel and come on Christmas day!!!!Thanks again for everything,

Hi Kellie,
Max is doing very well and is getting really big.  He is a very good dog but got a little out of hand with jumping and chewing for a while.  We took him to Southern Tails Dog School in Randleman and they have helped us and him a good bit.  The kids really love him and we are happy with him.  The people at Southern Tails said they have worked with 4 or 5 Golden Doodles over the last few years and Max has the best temperament of the ones they have seen.  they asked to know who the breeder was so they could refer people who are interested in the breed.  If it's OK with you, I will pass on your contact information.  We will send a picture of Max in his Christmas outfit soon.,

Thanks for the message--I think about you and have been meaning to send you a note so I am glad you sent the message!  Joey is a GREAT puppy!!!  He is playful but calm and has very good behavior for a puppy!  The children absolutely love him and are so happy to have him!  He is house trained (since he was 3 mos.) and we can tell he is very smart.  Joey learned how to sit using a hand command just a few weeks after we brought him home.  The children love to throw the ball for him to fetch and he does actually bring it back to have it thrown again.  Joey really isn't a big chewer (hasn't chewed our kitchen table legs which I was worried about) and he loves soft toys. Joey was actually at the vet today and weighs 40 lbs.  The vet thinks he will end up being about 60 lbs when he is full grown. So, thank you for the great puppy....we are so happy Joey is a part of our family!
Warmly,

Hi Kellie,
I just wanted to let you know that Mac is settled very nicely in his new home with his new family. I believe he is going to be "Daddy's Boy" as my fiance is already spoiling him ROTTEN!!! (I have included a picture of the two of them). He has told me that I have to be "the bad guy" when he does wrong because he just can't fuss at him because he's so cute! (This is coming from a self-proclaimed 'macho-man'... yeah right!) He put Mac in bed with him at my mom's Sunday night, even though he whimpered and wiggled all night Saturday. Trey (my fiance) came to the conclusion that he is hot natured he and must get that from him:) So he put Mac in front of the window unit with the air blowing on him and he slept all night! I think he was right because Mac likes to sleep near the AC vents in the house. I just about have him potty trained. He has only had one or two accidents and goes every time I take him outside. Last night he started to tinkle on the carpet but I said, "No!" and he stopped and went to the door to go out! Such a smart boy!!! He has already met all of his new family and his aunt Jo Jo (My sister Joanna) wants to babysit! This is unreal to us because she is a cat person! He is really helping me with the loss of my beloved Maddux. I see little things in him that remind me of Maddux in a good way. I still cry at night, but I am afraid I always will. Mac is going to be a very much loved little man! Thank you for everything,

Hi Kellie,
You must be psychic.  I’ve been thinking about calling you for about a week now to ask if you’d like to see Zoey.  She’s doing wonderfully, we couldn’t be happier with her!  She’s 99.99% house trained, she knows the names of most of her toys and will fetch them if asked.  She’s learning to sit/stay and to walk on a loose leash and doing very well.  She’s well over 30 lbs now and still growing, but at a slower rate.
